Charges are made on the basis of time spent by Dr. Muirhead, Dr. Deane, and staff in the provision of services. Services which include intakes, psychotherapy, academic coaching, tutoring, and educational therapy are charged hourly for the provision of direct services.

 

Some services, including comprehensive evaluations and consultations, require clinical time in addition to direct service. In these cases, clients will be provided with the fee schedule in advance.

 

Expected charges and payments will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the initiation of services. Payments are usually made at the time of service, in the form of cash, check or credit card. Services that are billed monthly are due upon receipt with overdue balances subject to late fees after 30 days. Any phone call or email that exceeds 15 minutes will be billed at a prorated rate.

 

Clients who wish to submit claims for reimbursement of services through their insurance company will be provided with procedure and diagnosis codes to help with this process; however, our office does not bill or communicate with insurance companies directly. Remember, appointment cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance; otherwise, you are responsible for the fee for the session.
